Silverstone Circuit is the national centre for motor racing abd is in heavy use throughout most of the year for this purpose.

Within the village itself, the Silverstone Recreational Association is host to football and cricket clubs, while its Hall is used for a variety of leisure and cultural activities.

Other venues used on occasions are the village Church and Chapel and the White Horse Pub.

Just outside the village are the Silverstone Golf Club and the Whittlebury Park Golf Club. The nearest professional theatre is in the Royal and Derngate complex in Northampton while there are also professional performances in the theatres at Milton Keynes and Oxford.
